The Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Network of Metropolitan Washington is the local chapter of the United Spinal Association (USA), which serves the D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. We are embarking on a journey to empower those living with spinal cord injuries and disorders (SCI/D).
The United Spinal Association and MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (MNRH) have partnered to help improve the quality of life for people living with paralysis due to SCI/D. Our aim is to improve lives by positively impacting members by providing services such as— but not limited to—advocating for your rights, providing a monthly peer support group and providing access to wellness and fitness programs. The more people from the D.C. metropolitan area with SCI/D and related stakeholders who join us in our mission, the more effective we will be. So please join us.
Join Spinal Cord Injury Network of Metropolitan Washington. When you join, we ask that you please select the option to be contacted. This will allow us to keep you informed about your local chapter.
Join our monthly Spinal Cord Injury Peer Support Group held at MedStar NRH’s Irving Street location.
