Our Numbers Tell the Story

Since NCCR first opened its doors in 2003, our team of rehabilitation experts has provided care to hundreds of children—from as young as three to 18. Our patients represent a diverse variety of neurological and orthopedic injury and illness.

Each patients has a personal story of triumph over hardship and adversity. And we’re proud to say that for more than a dozen years, the vast majority of our patients and their families rate their experience at the NCCR as excellent.

The NCCR team treated 86 inpatients in the most recent fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.  On average, these patients stayed in the hospital for 30 days.

NCCR treats a range of patient ages, from as young as 3 years old to 18 and older.  About a third of patients fell between 12-14 years old.

A similar proportion of male and female patients are treated at NCCR.















NCCR cares for a diverse mix of patient diagnoses.  In Fiscal Year 2015, children with neurological conditions, such as Cerebral Palsy, MS, and polyneuropathy, made up the greatest proportion of patients. 


Caregivers satisfaction - NCCR








Upon discharge, caregivers are surveyed on their experience at NCCR.  In Fiscal Year 2015, 100% of caregivers surveyed said their overall satisfaction with NCCR was excellent or very good.

Upon discharge, patients also receive a survey on their experience at the hospital.   In Fiscal Year 2015, 88% of patients surveyed said they strongly agreed or agreed that they liked it at NCCR.
