SLP - Pediatric PatientCommunication Opens the Door to the World

Speech-language pathology helps pediatric patients with complex medical conditions regain communication skills, which are critical to their growth and development.

Each patient is carefully evaluated by our pediatric speech-language pathologists, and an individualized plan of therapy is created to meet their special needs.

A variety of therapeutic methods are employed to help children, everything from language immersion activities—to the use of devices to augment spoken communication. Therapy is conducted one-on-one, and children are also paired together in our special group speech-language therapy group, called the Convo Club, to encourage practice in a real world environment.
