Archery

The Archery Program at MedStar NRH is free and open to anyone with an interest in learning to shoot including those who have never shot a bow, those interested in competition as well as those wanting to improve their skills for hunting. Expert instruction is provided that is tailored to meet your needs.

You can shoot sitting or standing, for those with one upper extremity or limited arm/hand function, a mouth tab will be made for your use. All equipment is provided; we have both compound and recurve bows, releases, arrows, arm guards, and targets available for use. However, if you have your own bow, we encourage you to bring it with you.

Information on competitions (local, regional and national) is made available for those with interest.
