Welcome to physical therapy at Rosedale

Our physical therapy clinic is conveniently located in the Medical Arts Building on the MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center campus. We are co-located with MedStar Orthopedic Institute, so we can work hand-in-hand with your physician on the best plan of care for your injury or condition. Our team of experienced physical and occupational therapists are specialized in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, as well as work-related injuries and sports injuries. We also provide excellent care for all total joint replacements including hips, knees, and shoulders.

  • Ryan Zimmerman, PT, DPT, Regional Director

    Ryan Zimmerman attended Western Maryland College (now known as McDaniel College) and received his bachelor’s degree in biology. Ryan also completed his doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. His rehabilitation specialties include:

  • Megan Lipsett, PT, DPT, Clinic Director

    Megan received her bachelor’s degree from Towson University. She continued on to the University of Miami where she received her doctoral degree in physical therapy. Megan is a former Level 10, NCAA Division One gymnast. Her rehabilitation specialties include:

  • Julia Drapac, PT 

    Julia Drapac received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at James Madison University. She continued her educated at Radford University’s Physical Therapy School where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

    Julia’s rehabilitation specialties include:

  • Mitchell Leatherman, PT

    Mitchell Leatherman received a Bachelor of Science in Sport Medicine from Radford University. He continued his education and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory and Henry University. He is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

  • Cheryl Patterson, PTA

    Cheryl attended Anne Arundel Community College and graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. She is an experienced PTA who has worked in both outpatient PT as well as skilled nursing facilities.

  • Emily Pruet, OT/L

    Emily Pruet is a board-certified Occupational Therapist who received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Concordia University Wisconsin. 

    Emily rehabilitation specialties include: 

    • Orthotic Fabrication 
    • Shoulder, Hand, and Wrist Therapy 
     
  • Ashley Schwartz, DPT

    Ashley Schwartz received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at University of Maryland, College Park. She then continued her education at University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

    Ashley's rehabilitation specialties include:

    • Hip, Knee, and Ankle/Foot Therapy

  • Linda Jett, OT, CHT

    Linda graduated from Towson State University in 1994 with a BS in Occupational Therapy.  She completed her internships at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a mental health hospital in Oshkosh, WI.  She has worked in many settings including inpatient hospital population, nursing homes both LTC and sub acute, as well as home health.  Her ultimate love of hand therapy occurred after working at Union Memorial Hospital in 1998,  and being exposed to hand and upper extremity trauma cases.  Linda then transferred to the Curtis National Hand Center where she was able to train and meet all the qualifications to become certified in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.  She has had the good fortune to learn from and work with Baltimore's best hand surgeons and helping in the hand surgeons fellowship program for many years treating in the Fellows clinic. She  also completed a one year program at MCP Hahnemann University earning a post professional certificate in hand and upper quarter rehabilitation.  Linda was also able to help update and revise two chapters in the 4th edition of Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation: A Practical Guide.  This journey now lands her working at Medstar's outpatient clinic at the Orthopedic Center at Rosedale Ortho and Hand

  • Lilian Tang, DPT

    Lilian Tang received bachelor's degrees at the University of California, Irvine. Afterward, she attended Marist College and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

  • Jordan Cargile, DPT, SCS, CSCS

    Jordan received her Bachelors of Science from University of Delaware where she played four years as a pitcher for the varsity softball team.  She then continued her education at University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Following this, she completed a sports residency through the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and went on to become a board-certified sports physical therapist.
