Patient & Family Advisory Council for Quality & Safety

MedStar National Rehabilitation Network is pleased to have implemented a Patient and Family Advisory Council for Quality and Safety (PFACQS).  Being the leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation services in our region at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (MedStar NRH), we greatly appreciate our relationship with the community we serve.  We value this relationship and truly believe that having a council that embodies partnership and communication will help us improve patient safety and enhance the patient experience.

Our goal is to have a council that reflects the diverse communities we serve – diversity in terms of disability, age, racial and ethnic makeup, and religion, to name a few.  The council is composed of patients, family members and/or friends of patients, as well as health care professionals in this hospital.  The MedStar NRH PFACQS currently focuses on our care for inpatient adults and helps create informed decisions about hospital programs and how they deliver care and provide services.

Please take a moment to learn more about the MNRH PFACQS.  We encourage you to consider submitting an application to join us in a partnership for patient safety and quality. If you would like to mail your application, please download the form and send it to the address below:
