NRH REHABILITATION NETWORK OLNEY, MARYLAND SITE EXPANDS ITS SPACE
This fall, the physical/occupational/speech therapy, sports medicine and physician office space will expand at the NRH Rehabilitation Network center at Olney, Maryland, located inside of MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.

WASHINGTON, DC – Sept. 30, 2015 – This fall, the physical/occupational/speech therapy, sports medicine and physician office space will expand at the NRH Rehabilitation Network center at Olney, Maryland, located inside of MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.
The additional space expands to 8,000 square feet, allowing for extra exam rooms, more treatment rooms to maximize patient access and provides patients with an optimal environment during their therapy treatments.
There will also be an expanded section for physician services which Thomas Heckman, DO, who specializes in pain medicine and Jason Pothast, MD, a sports medicine specialist, will work in, to conduct collaboratively with physical therapists on a patient’s plan of care.
Dr. Heckman is board certified in pain medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation, specializing in acute and chronic neck and low back pain. Dr. Pothast is a board certified sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, who helps patients by treating their chronic injuries from sports-related activities. He uses the latest innovations for diagnoses and treatment, including ultrasound guided procedures. NRH Rehabilitation Network at Olney, Maryland on the campus of MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy with specialty services for hand therapy, vestibular therapy, facial palsy and TMJ, lymphedema management and the use of the anti-gravity AlterG treadmill for both orthopedic and neurologic dysfunctions.
