ERIC WISOTZKY, MD, NAMED AS NEW CHAIR OF THE DIVISION OF REHABILITATION MEDICINE WITH MEDSTAR NRH REHABILITATION NETWORK

Eric Wisotzky, MD, director of the Cancer Rehabilitation program, has been appointed as chair of the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine with MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network, replacing Fatemeh Milani, MD, who served in the role for 20 years.

Eric Wisotzky MDWASHINGTON, DC – Sept. 16, 2015 – Eric Wisotzky, MD, director of the Cancer Rehabilitation program, has been appointed as chair of the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine with MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network, replacing Fatemeh Milani, MD, who served in the role for 20 years.

Dr. Wisotzky has been with MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network for four years. In that period of time, he has significantly grown the network’s Cancer Rehabilitation program. He now sees patients at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital as well as MedStar NRH and he has co-authored and co-edited a book on cancer rehab for our patients. He also started a cancer rehab fellowship, the fourth in the nation. In addition to his work in cancer rehabilitation, he is very involved with PM&R at a national level, serving on committees with both the AAPM&R and AAP.
