The Intersection of Innovation and Patient Care

We are tackling today's healthcare challenges with tomorrow's technology. Through our relationships with affiliated facilities, such as the Georgetown University Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, as well as the internal collaboration between our clinical and research staff, your patients will have access to state of the art technology and cutting edge treatments.

MedStar NRH places a high value on education and the transfer of knowledge to new generations of doctors. Our residency program is an ACGME accredited program that prepares residents for both clinical and academic work.

Because our clinical and research staff are located under the same roof, best practices are established and translated through to our delivery of patient care immediately. Patients are welcome to participate in clinical trials before they are offered to the public and have access to the technology developed by our research team.

For instance, our ZeroG® Gait and Balance Training system was invented by our team of researchers at MedStar NRH. Advances like this are available to MedStar NRH patients before they are released to rehabilitation facilities across the country.
