WASHINGTON, DC – July 17, 2012 – MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (MedStar NRH) has once again been ranked by physicians as one of America’s Best Hospitals in 2012 in the July issue of U.S.News & World Report.
For the 18th consecutive year, MedStar NRH is ranked by physicians as one of the top rehabilitation hospitals in the country, coming in at number 11 overall. Sister MedStar Health hospitals MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital were also named among the top five ‘best’ hospitals in the D.C. region.

The new rankings recognize more than 600 hospitals in or near cities with a record of high performance in key medical specialties. U.S.News created the Best Hospitals list to identify hospitals exceptionally skilled in handling the most difficult cases. Rehabilitation rankings are reputational scores as identified by physiatrists nationwide.
